The original Hells Canyon chemist was Clarence “Dick” Carter. In the depths of Hells Canyon, along Kirkwood Creek, Dick created a highly sought after substance: moonshine. He was an accomplished chemist, as his product was reputed to be some of the best shine to ever hit the canyon bottoms.
